Nebraskans: Ready to be Informed?

Tony Ojeda: Vote for Someone Else.
One look at his stance on the issues, and my mind is made up. The most convincing of which was his take on the "Culture of Life". So much bullshit and bad writing in such a small segment...

For additional points, he is also filing a legal complaint against Ryan Renner (UNO Student) for buying a domain name, Ojeda's that is. From the UNO Gateway: "I was a little upset when I couldn't buy my own name," Ojeda, 34, said in a phone interview Sunday. "I think I have some right to that name." Not to sound snappy, but heheheh /think again/.

For your convenience, I've put the more idiotic portions in red.

Culture of Life

I believe as our country's fathers. We have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Life is the most precious of those rights. I will work to renew a strong sense of respecting life from the moment of conception to natural death. Abortion is an absolute injustice to women and their innocent unborn children. I will be a voice in the Legislature by sponsoring policies for women so that they may protect their own life and that of their child.

I will promote research at the University of Nebraska that is both cutting edge and ethical. Stem Cell Research can do much good for the culture of life. I believe that it is paramount that we continue to explore ways to utilize Adult Stem Cells and stem cells from umbilical cords. We must ban the destructive and unethical research being done on embryonic stem cells. We must also enact into a law that bans human cloning. Our state must be a leader on this issue.

Marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman. The citizens of Nebraska have already voted on this issue. The citizens have spoken with an overwhelming majority and have amended our constitution. I support this amendment and will do everything I can to protect it. I do believe that everyone should live without fear of discrimination, and everyone's rights should be protected. However, a society must protect the bond of marriage.
